Join us for the first annual Westwood Lake Relay on Saturday, November 1st. The inaugural event will support the Emergency Room expansion at NRGH. Teams of four will compete, with each member running the approximate 5.5km trail around Westwood Lake (total, 22km).

Island Hot Tub: Water, water everywhere - funding better healthcare!
Make sure you're safe twice over. Island Hot Tub will test the water in your pool or hot tub for the price of a donation to our regional hospital, NRGH.
Just bring your water sample in to their showroom at 6590A North Island Highway, in Nanaimo, and they will check its purity and accept a donation of any size (a fee is normally charged for the service). Donations will go to NRGH via the Foundation, to help fund the hospital's current equipment needs.

Northfield Volunteer Firefighters
Since 1988 the Northfield Volunteer Firefighters have donated the proceeds from their sponsorship of the California based Gatti Circus to the Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation. They have raised a total of $224,302 to help purchase new equipment for NRGH.
Aviawest
Gayle Miller, Director of Owner Services for Aviawest Resorts, delivers $5,169.43 to Charlotte Lawson, NDHF Development Director. The funds were raised through a silent auction at Aviawest’s 3rd Annual Owners BBQ and will support the NRGH palliative care unit renovation. Aviawest has donated $14,607.43 to the Foundation since 2005 through its annual BBQ.
Our Lady Di Team
The Our Lady Di team has been raising money in memory of their friend Diane Smith who died of breast cancer in 2004. Activities have included pub night fundraisers and Holland America cruise raffles. To date, the team has donated $39,482 to the Hospital Foundation for breast cancer solutions at NRGH.
Assante Financial Management Ltd.
Assante's clients and associates donated $4,405 collected during the company's recent holiday charity fundraising campaign. Since 2005, Assante's North Nanaimo branch and it's associates have raised a total of $10,710 for NRGH.
